We take your privacy seriously. Maison A+ collects only the data needed to process your orders and improve your experience. We never sell your data.

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account data: name, email address, password (hashed — we never see it in plain text)
  • Order data: delivery address, phone number, items purchased
  • Payment data: processed entirely by Paystack. We receive only a transaction reference — your card details never touch our servers
  • Communications: messages sent via our contact form or WhatsApp

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Products viewed and added to cart
  • Referral source (how you found us)

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To process and fulfil your orders
  • To send order confirmations and delivery updates by email and SMS
  • To personalise your shopping experience (recently viewed, recommendations)
  • To send marketing emails — only if you opt in
  • To prevent fraud and maintain security
  • To comply with Nigerian law

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure (hosted on AWS in the EU region). All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS 1.3) and at rest. We apply row-level security so each user can only access their own data.

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never readable by our team.

5. Third Parties We Share Data With

  • Paystack — payment processing. Their privacy policy →
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Termii — SMS notifications (phone number only)
  • Google Analytics — anonymised site analytics (if enabled)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes.

6. Your Rights

Under Nigeria's Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and data
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC)

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and cart. We use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand site usage — you can opt out via your browser settings. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered customers. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.

By placing an order with Maison A+, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

1. The Contract

These Terms & Conditions govern your purchase of products and services from Maison A+ ("we", "us") through shop.maisonaplus.com. By completing a purchase, you enter into a binding contract with Maison A+, a business registered in Lagos State, Nigeria.

2. Ordering

2.1 Order Confirmation

An order is confirmed only when you receive an order confirmation email from orders@shop.maisonaplus.com and payment has been successfully processed via Paystack. We reserve the right to cancel any order if we suspect fraud or if a product is discontinued.

2.2 Pricing

All prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦) and are inclusive of applicable fees. Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed orders will be honoured at the price displayed at time of purchase.

2.3 Stock Availability

All products are subject to availability. In the rare event that an item you ordered is out of stock after payment, we will contact you within 24 hours to offer a full refund or a suitable alternative.

3. Payment

We accept payment via Paystack (debit cards, credit cards, bank transfer). Payment is processed securely by Paystack — your card details are never stored on our servers. All transactions are in Nigerian Naira.

4. Delivery

4.1 Delivery Areas

We deliver across Lagos and can arrange nationwide delivery on request. Delivery fees and estimated times vary by zone and are displayed at checkout.

4.2 Delivery Times

Estimated delivery windows are provided at checkout and in your confirmation email. These are estimates only — we will contact you via WhatsApp to confirm your exact delivery slot.

4.3 Failed Delivery

If no one is available to receive delivery after two attempts, a re-delivery fee may apply. Please ensure your delivery address and phone number are accurate at time of ordering.

5. Design Services

Service bookings (consultations, space planning, site visits) are confirmed by our team within 24 hours of purchase. Services are subject to designer availability. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance for a full refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on shop.maisonaplus.com — including product photography, descriptions, logos, and design concepts — is the intellectual property of Maison A+. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, Maison A+'s liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the price paid for the relevant product or service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State.

We want you to love every piece. If something isn't right, we will make it right — no arguments, no runaround.

1. Our Return Commitment

We accept returns on most physical products within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is in its original condition, unused, and in original packaging.

2. How to Initiate a Return

  1. WhatsApp or email us within 7 days of delivery
  2. Share your order number and photos of the item
  3. Our team will confirm eligibility within 24 hours
  4. We will arrange a pickup at no extra charge for eligible returns
  5. Refund is processed within 3–5 business days of receiving the returned item

3. Items Eligible for Return

  • Furniture (sofas, chairs, tables) — if delivered damaged or significantly different from description
  • Lighting fixtures — if faulty or damaged on arrival
  • Rugs — if delivered damaged or incorrect item
  • Accessories and décor — if unused and in original packaging

4. Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom or bespoke orders (items made to your specifications)
  • Items that have been used, assembled, or installed
  • Design service fees (consultations, space planning, site visits) — see cancellation policy below
  • Sale items marked "Final Sale"

5. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged or is incorrect, please photograph it immediately and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. This is covered regardless of our standard 7-day window.

6. Refund Method

Refunds are returned to your original payment method via Paystack. Bank transfer refunds typically clear within 3–5 business days depending on your bank. We will send you a confirmation email when the refund is initiated.

7. Service Cancellation Policy

  • Cancelled 48+ hours before: Full refund
  • Cancelled 24–48 hours before: 50% refund
  • Cancelled less than 24 hours before / no-show: No refund

8. Exchange Policy

We are happy to exchange items for a different colour, size, or style where available. Exchanges are subject to stock availability. Contact us within 7 days of delivery to arrange an exchange.
